We are located at 7 Queen Street South, Mississauga, Ontario. Interested candidates must meet the “Required Availability” and be able to work 30-40 hours a week in order to be considered.
Required Availability: Tuesday to Saturday 10:00am-7:00pm
Wage: Commission-Base and Bonus
Location: Mississauga
Full paid training provided: up to 10 days
Full-Time: 30-40 hours per week

• Navigate through a computerized system and accurately enter data

• Completion of Grade 12 and/or Post-Secondary Education
• At least 3 years of sales experience
• Strong understanding of internet technology
• Ability to build customer relationships over the telephone and in person
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to multi task, listen actively and provide the correct solution
• Knowledge of curly hair is desirable but not necessary

We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated individual with public relations background with experience in social media, community management, content writing, basic graphic design and photography.

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for executing in the consistent voice of Kinks Hair Studio / Kinksology in all aspects of the organization’s marketing efforts. This person will also work closely with the technical team to maintain the organization’s online assets. He/she will manage the strategy and execution of various social media content, email newsletter influencer marketing.

The ideal candidate will also have experience managing online campaigns.

• Create, develop and manage content for organization’s web presence (website, social media, blog, etc.)
• Execute on various marketing projects
• Maintain a consistent look and feel throughout all web properties
• Working with a cross-departmental team, maintain and develop the master content calendar for all web properties
• Proofread and edit copy in all web content
• Keep current with emerging web technologies through relevant blogs and events
• Assure web-based information is archived for future needs and reference
• Track and report website and social media metrics
• Work cooperatively with key team members, clients and product suppliers

• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Basic knowledge of HTML, SEO, and Social Media Practices
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Basic design skills using Photoshop, InDesign and/or Canva
